Seager Wheeler National Historical Farm 7.5 km east of Rosthern, Sk. off Highway #312 Summer Day Camp 2010 Fun and excitement for children ages 7 - 12!

21 and 22, 2010 or August
4 and 5, 2010 Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
This
2-day camp will strive to inform children about the lifestyle of people in the
early 1900’s through a series of hands-on crafts ,chores and heritage
demonstrations. 4th
annual and improved 2-day program. Baking,
and making home make ice cream ,making
crafts, and playing old fashioned games. A
wagon ride to the bird sanctuary and pond to catch frogs,
snails, and watch the ducks, will make this a fun and educational program kids
are sure to remember, even
a trip to the orchard for some fresh berry picking, try
your hand at Scarecrow making The
camp endeavors to instill a sense of pride in one’s heritage and knowledge of
the life styles of the early Canadians. As
mementos of their experience the children take home picture journals and the
crafts they make. Parents
need to provide transportation to and from the Seager Wheeler farm. The
camp is supervised by trained, and first aid certified staff. Costumes,
and meals are provided by the Seager Wheeler Farm. Participation
Fee $60.00
